About half of the miatas hook up at a gas station in Frankfort, KY.
While waiting on some other miatas, this Ferrari shows up. Wish he would have joined us at the track!
Sweeeet... Dude... Sweet... Dude!!! Sweet!!!!! DUDE!!!!.............
Arrived at the track early Sunday morning. Where's the coffee? (yawn...)
Fellow SCCA racer and friend Randy Walker swapping tires for his wife Judy who also ran w/ us at Putnam.
Mark Manuel preparing for his debut on a road course.
Greg King swapping tires and getting ready for fun!
John Gassett's car ready to run!
Nigel Soult's rocket about to get a tire swap.
The worlds fastest miata coming off the trailer (well... ok not that fast.)
Another '99. I forgot to say hello to this guy (duh!!) but it was one fast miata!
The TWIN! Yes, the "twin" blue miata of Mr. Mike Shepherd made it to the track, ready to roll on it's debut.
What a putz. Who is this dork? ...and who let him in my car?
John, calling in for an emergency prescription of Bean-O. Rumor has it, John was almost disqualified as his car was suspected of running on some sort of "toxic gas". Since no NOS bottle was found, they let him run anyway.
A big variety of other cars at the track. Quite a nice mix of wonderful cars!
In the pits, getting tech'd and almost ready to run.
DUDE!!!! V06 Vette! Will that ticker fit in a miata?
Audi TT. This car was screaming on track! You could always hear it coming. Pretty cool.
Some more contenders. I almost caught up enough to pass the Porsche but the checkered flag was out. That black vette was freak'n fast!
Five Lexington, KY miata junkies.
Another shot of trouble in the making.
The twins. One of the few times seen steadily side by side. Usually one is passing the other. Kinda depends on whos in the passenger seat and how much the driver ate for lunch.
